There are millions of extraordinary world records yet to be set. Below are some of the key guidelines to establish a world record:
HOW TO BECOME AN ELITE WORLD RECORD HOLDER?
Step A: Sign up for a membership and create a login with EWR.
Step B: Decide whether you are attempting an individual or team record.
Step C: Choose the record category.
Step D: Check whether your record is an existing one in the EWR gallery or a new attempt.
Step E: If it is an existing record, obtain the rules.
Step F: If it is a new record, define the rules and proceed with the attempt.
Step G: Record your attempt with photos and videos (ensure horizontal recording if using a mobile phone).
Step H: Upload all evidence through your membership login.
Step I: Once approved, share your achievement on social media platforms. (Approval usually takes 7 working days.)
Step J: Apply for an official Elite World Records certificate through the EWR Store.
HOW MANY DAYS WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE A RESPONSE?
EWR receives over 10,000 record-related enquiries annually. Responses are typically provided within seven working days, though some cases may take longer.
WHAT IS THE INITIAL COST TO START A RECORD ATTEMPT?
Membership and record submission are free of charge. Fees apply only if you choose to hire an adjudicator or request a certificate.
WILL EWR PROVIDE PAYMENT FOR A SUCCESSFUL RECORD?
No. EWR does not provide financial compensation or cover expenses. Participants are responsible for all costs related to their record attempt.
WHAT EVIDENCE IS REQUIRED?
Photo and video evidence are mandatory. Additional supporting materials may also be submitted.
ARE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPROVAL?
No physical documents are required. All submissions are completed online.
WHEN SHOULD I APPROACH EWR?
You may attempt your record independently and submit your evidence afterward, provided it meets all guidelines.
WHAT IF MY RECORD IS DISQUALIFIED?
You will receive clarification and may reattempt the record after addressing the issues.
HOW TO RESUBMIT A RECORD?
If technical issues occur, you will be contacted to resubmit the required evidence.
DO I NEED TO RECORD THE ENTIRE ATTEMPT FOR LONG EVENTS?
Yes. Full recording is recommended. You may edit and upload a shorter version for submission.
WHAT IF MY VIDEO FILE IS TOO LARGE?
Use compression tools or share via online transfer platforms.
WHAT IS THE RECORD ADJUDICATION PROCEDURE?
An official EWR adjudicator may verify the record in person. This is optional but enhances credibility and media visibility. Fees apply for adjudicator services.
WHERE CAN I BUY THE BOOK?
The book is available globally through major retailers and online platforms.
HOW TO REPORT ERRORS IN THE BOOK?

WHICH RECORDS ARE PROHIBITED?
Records that are dangerous, non-breakable, unreasonable, or overly specific are not accepted.
