ADJUDICATION SERVICES

Elite World Records (EWR) offers a professional Adjudication Service where a certified EWR adjudicator attends your record attempt. This premium, on-site service confirms, authenticates and celebrates your achievement in real time, giving your record the credibility and visibility it deserves. Requests for this service must be made directly and separately to the EWR official website including all details of the event.

What Is the EWR Adjudication Service?

The EWR Adjudication Service puts a trained, official EWR adjudicator at your side for the record attempt. The adjudicator confirms the attempt independently on the spot, announces the result and issues a provisional certificate in case of a successful attempt – at the venue on the day of the event itself. This service is intended to add an authoritative, professional dimension to your record attempt and to support your media and public relations efforts.

Key Benefits of Having an EWR Adjudicator

Having an official EWR adjudicator at your event offers several important advantages:

What Is Included in the Adjudication Service?

The adjudication package covers the following:

Is the Adjudication Service a Paid Service?

Yes, the adjudication service is a paid premium offering. The cost is determined based on several factors, including:

The standard base fee for the adjudication service is USD 2,500. However, the final cost will be confirmed once the official application has been reviewed. Applicants are encouraged to apply early to allow sufficient time for planning and coordination.

Is Evidence Still Required When an Adjudicator Is Present?

In most instances, the presence of an EWR adjudicator obviates a separate evidence submission. However, there are some specific exceptions where supporting documentation is still required.

For example, for marathon style or endurance events the adjudicator cannot be present throughout the whole attempt. In such cases, a logbook shall be kept, which may include a participant logbook, marathon logbook or visitor log, and submitted to the EWR adjudicator upon arrival for review.

Any additional supporting evidence identified for your record category must be provided to EWR without exception. This is a requirement that must be met whether or not there is an adjudicator.

Which Types of Events Benefit Most from On-Site Adjudication?

While any record attempt can benefit from this service, on-site adjudication is especially valuable for:

Do Adjudicators Bring Their Own Measuring Equipment?

EWR judges usually come prepared with the appropriate measuring equipment for the record attempt. But there are exceptions. The event organisers shall prepare suitable and calibrated weighing scales in advance for weight related records with heavy loads.
If you have specific requirements for your attempt regarding equipment, please state this clearly in your application and our team will be able to advise.
